[rabbitmq-discuss] Location of journals in a mirrored deployment

Hi all,

I was wondering to what extent the message journal is replicated on
separate nodes when publishing persistent messages to a mirrored
queue. Can Rabbit be configured (in addition to queue replication) to
journal messages on all nodes or just a subset of nodes? What happens
in a failover scenario - does a slave take over the job of journaling
persistent messages if it wasn't doing it previously?
