This looks like an Erlang bug. I have reported it to the Erlang
developers. In the meantime R16B01 is the most recent version that does
not seem to suffer from the issue. Running with an older version of
Erlang is probably preferable to allowing insecure renegotiation.
However our advice is to avoid R16B01 in production, so R16B is probably
a better option.
