rabbitpy 0.13.0 has been released fixing a minor bug with disabled heartbeat checking and adding additional arguments when constructing a queue. rabbitpy aims to provide a simple and easy to use API for interfacing with RabbitMQ, minimizing the programming overhead often found in other libraries. More information can be found at https://pypi.python.org/pypi/rabbitpy and https://rabbitpy.readthedocs.org

pamqp 1.3.0, the low-level AMQP encoding/decoding library has also been released, fixing a bug related to short integers in AMQP Field Table data-structures. More information on pamqp can be found at https://pypi.python.org/pypi/pamqp and https://pamqp.readthedocs.org/en/latest/

Gavin,

Great job!

Will there be a Pika release that makes it possible to specify arguments on basic.consume?
Yes, I’m working on a new branch for Pika, cleaning up stuff and will be adding new features as well. 0.10.0 Beta 1 should drop soon.

Gavin
