[rabbitmq-discuss] Building from SRPM installs plugins w/ version 0.0.0

Hi All,
We generally package our own RPMs, often using the SRPM when it is
available. Today we packaged RabbitMQ 3.1.1 from this SRPM:
http://www.rabbitmq.com/releases/rabbitmq-server/v3.1.1/rabbitmq-server-3.1.1-1.src.rpm
using
the Fedora Project Koji <https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Koji> build system.
Without modifying the SRPM, the generated RPM contains plugins all with
version 0.0.0. For example:
/usr/lib/rabbitmq/lib/rabbitmq_server-3.1.1/plugins/amqp_client-0.0.0.ez
/usr/lib/rabbitmq/lib/rabbitmq_server-3.1.1/plugins/cowboy-0.5.0-rmq0.0.0-git4b93c2d.ez
/usr/lib/rabbitmq/lib/rabbitmq_server-3.1.1/plugins/eldap-0.0.0-gite309de4.ez
I have two questions:
1) Is there something special we should be doing in our build environment
to fix this?
2) Are these incorrectly versioned filenames harmful?
Thanks,
Chris
