<div dir="ltr">Hi All,<div><br></div><div>We generally package our own RPMs, often using the SRPM when it is available. Today we packaged RabbitMQ 3.1.1 from this SRPM: <a href="http://www.rabbitmq.com/releases/rabbitmq-server/v3.1.1/rabbitmq-server-3.1.1-1.src.rpm" target="_blank">http://www.rabbitmq.com/releases/rabbitmq-server/v3.1.1/rabbitmq-server-3.1.1-1.src.rpm</a> using the Fedora Project <a href="https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Koji" target="_blank">Koji</a> build system.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Without modifying the SRPM, the generated RPM contains plugins all with version 0.0.0. For example:</div><div><br></div><div><div>/usr/lib/rabbitmq/lib/rabbitmq_server-3.1.1/plugins/amqp_client-0.0.0.ez</div>
<div>/usr/lib/rabbitmq/lib/rabbitmq_server-3.1.1/plugins/cowboy-0.5.0-rmq0.0.0-git4b93c2d.ez</div><div>/usr/lib/rabbitmq/lib/rabbitmq_server-3.1.1/plugins/eldap-0.0.0-gite309de4.ez</div><div><br></div></div><div style>I have two questions:</div>
<div style><br></div><div style>1) Is there something special we should be doing in our build environment to fix this?</div><div style>2) Are these incorrectly versioned filenames harmful?</div>
<div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div>Chris</div></div>
