[rabbitmq-discuss] rabbitmq start errors

I have installed erlang on my solaris 10 machine and when I type in erl I am taken to the erlang shell.  Since it is showing that erlang is installed properly I move onto rabbitmq.  When I go into the rabbitmq directory and type /sbin/rabbitmq-server I get the following error    sbin/rabbitmq-server: bad substitution      Any help is appreciated getting past this error
