[rabbitmq-discuss] Usage of dot in the nodename in a cluster.

Hi,

Cant we use a dot in the name of a Nodename in a cluster.Something like this
in rabbitmq-env.conf file:
NODENAME=my.rmq.test

Because when am using such a name i see error in the log files as Invalid
node name.
