[rabbitmq-discuss] Urgent - issue on AWS

hi

I installed RabbitMQ on AWS Amazon AMI (uname Linux xxxx
3.2.12-3.2.4.amzn1.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Mar 22 08:00:08 UTC 2012 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux). I followed the installation steps at
http://www.rabbitmq.com/install-rpm.html and started the services. The
services run fine and when I run 'rabbitmqctl status', I get a
'proper' response.

I am now trying to run the java client test from http://www.rabbitmq.com/ec2.html.
I do get "starting consumer #0
starting producer #0" but nothing afterwards. There are no logs as
well. What am I doing wrong?
