Sounds like you ran out of disc space. Unfortunately RabbitMQ does not 
handle running out of disc space well.

We intend to have disc space monitoring / alarms in a future version of 
RabbitMQ, but it's not in any released version, so you will have to keep 
an eye on disc space yourself.
