The diagnosis provided by the troubleshooting guide is that the Erlang
cookies are not synchronised:

Did you spell the name of the cookie file correctly? The correct name is
.erlang.cookie .

Is the cookie hash displayed in the startup banner on all hosts
"VWZk1leRufUBRYr1dwMuJg==" ?
