[rabbitmq-discuss] Persistant Messages in TopicExchange

Hi,
I'm new to RabbitMQ.
When i use TopicExchange, and trying to push messages to from producer to consumer.
Consumer is able to consume messages only if if it is alive and running when the producer is sending the message.
When consumer is down when producer is started, all those messages were lost.
I tried to make messages Persistant by passing parameter as MessageProperties.PERSISTANT_TEXT_PLAIN.
Still messages were lost.
