[rabbitmq-discuss] [announcement] amqp gem 0.8.4 is released, 0.9 development starts

amqp gem 0.8.4 is released [1]. This is a bug fix release that solves a couple of framing/concurrency issues [2].
All users are encouraged to upgrade.

In addition, this is likely to be the last 0.8.x release. All the ongoing work will happen in master and will result in 0.9.0 release in a couple of months. master right now is identical to the 0.8.x-stable branch and 0.9.0 will be completely backwards compatible but I want to introduce a number of small features that don't fit 0.8.x point releases.
