RHEL 4 is pretty ancient. A little searching around suggests that the
version of Erlang in RHEL 4 is R11B2 which is far too old to work with
any recent releases of RabbitMQ anyway - 1.7.2 requires at least R11B5
and the next release (and our source repositories) require R12B3 as a
minimum. Are you sure even if you get it to compile, you'll have a
recent enough version of Erlang for it to run on?
