[rabbitmq-discuss] Size of messages?

Julian,
I think a couple of people have sent file content as messages. I know
at least one person modified the the simple RabbitMQ Java client
examples to send files-as-data.
Also, Ezra mentioned that Nanite does or will do some chunked file
transfer, but that is currently supported for Ruby only. I believe
other languages are planned.
I am not sure what size of message STOMP can cope with.
Why don't you give it a try and let us know how you get on?
