Hi,
I am trying to get Rabbit installed on Debian without success using both the
tarball and .deb. I think the problem may have to do with lack of certain
library in my Debian box. Here is what I get:
With the tarball:
debian:/usr/src/rabbitmq/rabbitmq-server-1.4.0# ls
BUILD codegen.py include LICENSE Makefile src
codegen ebin INSTALL LICENSE-MPL-RabbitMQ scripts
debian:/usr/src/rabbitmq/rabbitmq-server-1.4.0# make
python codegen.py header codegen/amqp-0.8.json > include/rabbit_framing.hrl
python codegen.py body codegen/amqp-0.8.json > src/rabbit_framing.erl
erlc -I include -o ebin -Wall -v +debug_info src/rabbit_framing.erl
erlc -I include -o ebin -Wall -v +debug_info src/buffering_proxy.erl
erlc -I include -o ebin -Wall -v +debug_info src/rabbit_access_control.erl
src/rabbit_access_control.erl:27: can't find include lib
"stdlib/include/qlc.hrl "
make: *** [ebin/rabbit_access_control.beam] Error 1
With apt-get:
debian:/usr/src/rabbitmq/rabbitmq-server-1.4.0# apt-get install erlang-base
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
erlang-base is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 7 not upgraded.
1 not fully installed or removed.
Need to get 0B of archives.
After unpacking 0B of additional disk space will be used.

Any idea?
