[rabbitmq-discuss] RabbitMQ and AMQP

I was reading the documentation that said AMQP is not only an API
specification, but also a wire specification.

Does that mean ActiveMQ (using AMQP) can talk to RabbitMQ  Any links to docs
on how this might work?
