Hi,

Unfortunately most of these edits will be lost due to actions taken by
the Makefile in the same directory.

The RPM Makefile already does this.

Thanks for the suggestion. The START_PROG for the RPM package is
"runuser". We are aware that this is not suitable for all RPM
distributions (notably SuSE) and we intend to correct that.
