[rabbitmq-discuss] Admin User other than guest - have I missed a step?

Hi All,

Following along with the web admin plug-in flow I created a new admin user - time to delete guest ;), but, am unable to log-in with this new user.

 rabbitmqctl list_users:
newuser [administrator]

I ran 
rabbitmqctl stop
./invoke-rc.d rabbitmq-server start

and the broker is running... but still cannot log-in with the new user
Also, cannot connect to the broker with a client configured to use this new user..

Have I missed something? (2.8.6 - ubuntu)
