[rabbitmq-discuss] Generating a Rabbitmq release

Hi,

By googling something related to Erlang releases I found out that in Feb 2012 a user wanted to do something similar to this: http://lists.rabbitmq.com/pipermail/rabbitmq-discuss/2012-February/017895.html

In my case a short update:

I modified the Makefile from RabbitMQ to be able to generate the release from which I can pack a .tar.gz file of approximately 7MB. This server version has no plugins so far, that's on the TODO list.

I will try to share my changes later, maybe forking the Github repo from rabbitmq.
