I am using the following RabbitMQ dll that came with the download. Please can you check to see if we are running the same version:
RabbitMQ.Client:
Runtime Version: v2.0.50727
Version: 1.2.8025.1832
I have tried to run the same code on multiple computers and am still getting the same error. On another computer I installed the older Visual Studio 2005 and still get the same error. I also ran the program using your dev test machines and still get the same error, so my suspicion is that its either something in my client code or something with the Rabbit.Client dll that I am using. If it was the server then when I run against your dev servers I wouldn't get the same error, so I think the client socket connection is that one that is disconnecting.
Thanks for all your help.

It shouldn't be: the system was developed and tested against .NET 1.1
and 2.0, but the WCF binding was developed on 3.0 and 3.5 (beta), so all
should be fine on that front.

I've added you on skype, and I'll try to get to IRC tomorrow as well :-)
Please do take a close look at your RabbitMQ server logs, as they often
can report faults that the protocol doesn't permit informing the
connected clients directly about.
Regards,
Tony
