Thanks for the file.

Could you send us the output of mnesia:info() and ets:i(), please? The 
missing memory could be in mnesia or ets tables.

Also, when you say the beam instance is 1.5GB, are you talking about 
virtual-address-space consumption, or RSS? (What does "ps v" give?)
