[rabbitmq-discuss] How to join two rabbitmq nodes on EC2?

Nope,
(btw : I really did read this page before trying to configure.)
At the beginning I copied the cookie between the remote.
Then I even tried just to copy the string inside.
I restarted both remote ec2 computers many times (shutdown -r )
I still get

"The nodes provided are either offline or not running"

In addition I looked in the log "rabbit at ip-XX-XX-XX-XX.log" and under the
section
=INFO REPORT==== 9-Mar-2014::14:49:58 ===

I see the same cookie hash.

Any other idea?
