Hello,
I have a 3 node rabbit 3.2.3 cluster which is working great most of the
time. Occasionally, however, our clients (Pika 0.9.13 / 0.9.14p1) receive
an abrupt TCP level disconnect. These FIN/ACK's generally happen between
start / start-ok or the first tune / tune-ok. There are no messages in the
rabbitmq server logs around the time of the tcp FIN/ACK.
An sketch of one of our failing connections with any large gaps in timing
highlighted:
later ... CLIENT -> SERVER says SYN...
later ... SERVER -> CLIENT says SYN/ACK
later ... CLIENT -> SERVER says ACK
later ... CLIENT -> SERVER says AMQP,Protocol-Header 9-1
later ... SERVER -> CLIENT says ACK
later ... SERVER -> CLIENT says Connection.Start
later ... CLIENT -> SERVER says ACK
8s later ... CLIENT -> SERVER says Connection.Start-Ok
later ... SERVER -> CLIENT says Connection.Tune
later ... CLIENT -> SERVER says ACK
2s later ... SERVER -> CLIENT says FIN,ACK
later ... CLIENT -> SERVER says ACK
later ... CLIENT -> SERVER says Connection.Tune-Ok
later ... SERVER -> CLIENT says RST
later ... CLIENT -> SERVER says Connection.Open
later ... SERVER -> CLIENT says RST
Does anyone know of a good place to start debugging this? Are there
relevant timeouts I should be aware of?
Much appreciated,
- James
