[rabbitmq-discuss] inet_dist_listen port range for cluster firewall config

Hi All,

I have been trying to understand below config in
/etc/rabbitmq/rabbitmq.config:
{inet_dist_listen_min, 9100},
{inet_dist_listen_max, 9105},

I understand that one port has to be open from firewall for rabbit
distributed nodes to talk to each other. But I have difficulties
understanding the benefit of configuring more than one node. Also in what
scenario will epmd invoke second node in that range?
