Hi All,
We are having some problems with network partitions. We have dedicated equipment with our hosting provider so in theory network partitions shouldn't be a problem. But we have experienced more than one in the past month. We are running two vm's in a vsphere environment.
What happens in the event of a network partition? The log files show (/var/log/rabbitmq/rabbit at zmqX.log):
zmq1 (usually the primary node in the cluster):
=ERROR REPORT==== 6-Jun-2014::12:15:57 ===
** Node 'rabbit at zmq2' not responding **
** Removing (timedout) connection **
=INFO REPORT==== 6-Jun-2014::12:19:36 ===
rabbit on node 'rabbit at zmq2' down
zmq2:
=INFO REPORT==== 6-Jun-2014::12:19:21 ===
rabbit on node 'rabbit at 15below-zmq1' down
Curiously there is nothing else in the logs on zmq2 @ 12:15
Any help or advice would be helpful.
Cheers
