[rabbitmq-discuss] pika.exceptions.ConnectionClosed

Hi, very new to pika and rabbitmq. The moment I add some sort of work to 
the basic consumption callback, I get a pika.exceptions.ConnectionClosed. 
Any ideas? Code and log at http://pastebin.com/M90Q6me1 

pika 0.9.13 and python 2.7.5 on mac os x mountain lion.
