I failed to answer your question accurately in my earlier reply. The
non-sasl logfile location is picked up from $RABBITMQ_LOGS, or if that
is not set, $RABBITMQ_LOG_BASE. It is normally the responsibility of the
package manager to set this up correctly and installation time.
