Are you aware of Oracle's own JDK 7 installers available from
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html?

This may or may not be an option according to your IT dept policies
but these JDKs should work on Snow Leopard.

Apple no longer maintains their own JDK.
