[rabbitmq-discuss] Invalid bytecode when joining Linux node to Windows cluster

Hi,

As far as I can see, I'm running the same version on both nodes:

openSUSE:
{erlang_version,"Erlang R16B02 (erts-5.10.3) [source] [64-bit] [async-threads:30] [kernel-poll:true]\n"},

Windows:
{erlang_version,"Erlang R16B02 (erts-5.10.3) [64-bit] [async-threads:30]\n"},

Can there still be differences, causing this not to work?

David

Make sure you have the same Erlang version on both nodes and that RabbitMQ uses the Erlang version you expect.

See http://rabbitmq.1065348.n5.nabble.com/Incompatible-Erlang-bytecode-found-on-nodes-td29756.html
