[rabbitmq-discuss] Upgrade Java Driver 2.8.7 to 3.0.4 required?

We are in the process of upgrading our server to 3.0.4. We have several 
older Java applications running with the 2.8.7 client. Will we need to 
upgrade the Java driver to talk to 3.0.4, or can we just continue to run 
those apps as is with the 2.8.7 driver talking to a 3.0.4 Rabbit server? 
Sorry to bother, just couldn't find much information on APIs changes or 
requirements for running 2.x Java client against 3.x....
