Where are you putting your .erlang.cookie and how did you install the broker?
RE:I usually put in the user created folder data under the base
directory.Does the path location also needs to be the same in order to have
same cookie hash value?
For example here are the exact locations:
CLUSTER1 at zldv0435 : /opt/app/d1c1d20/rabbitmq/data/.erlang.cookie
CLUSTER1 at zldv0432 : /opt/app/workload/rabbitmq/data/.erlang.cookie
The installation involves extracting the binaries for unix,configuring
rabbitmq.config file,setting the user,starting rabbitmq etc.
