Looks like a corrupt persistent message store. We've had a couple of 
reports of that happening but have never been able to track down the cause.

Would it be possible to get a copy of the /data/sq/db directory, and of 
the tail of log files from the long-running rabbit instance? Happy to 
take this off-list if necessary.

Can you think of any external factors that might have caused data 
corruption? disk filling up. cosmic rays. etc. How did your ageing 
rabbit meet its end? power failure by any chance?
