That's a pretty neat idea. Your proposal can also generalise to
real/floating point numbers and higher dimensions.

The priorities use-case normally has small exclusive intervals so it
will be just as easy to bind queues with individual integers/routing
keys. The load balancing use-case can be met with a random or consistent
hash exchange. Are there any other compelling use-cases?
