Hi, Prabodh:

Developing RabbitMQ plugins does require you to check out a decent amount
of Rabbit source so that you have necessary include files and the like.

There's a nice description, along with a step by step, worked example in
sections 12.2 and 12.3 of "RabbitMQ in Action."

Do note that this will involve learning and writing some Erlang code.
