[rabbitmq-discuss] service rabbitmq-server start stuck due to inet_gethost 4

We are using rabbitmq server 2.7.1 in two node auto clustering mode.

   Once in a while we are getting complaint that rabbitmq did not complete
the installation. What is happening underneath is "service rabbitmq-server
start" is getting stuck,  and subsequent installation steps also gets stuck
going into loop and many many runs trying to complete. I think
"inet_gethost 4" might be the culprit. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
