Apologies, it has just been pointed out to me that this repo
http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/peter/erlang/epel-erlang.repo
doesn't work with RHEL 6. The instructions here:
http://www.rabbitmq.com/install-rpm.html
indicate that you should use EPEL, which has a sufficiently recent
version of Erlang.
