Hi Christopher,

A comparison of the Erlang cookie hashes shows that these are correct,
so the problem lies elsewhere. Can you confirm that the firewall is
allowing traffic on port 45001? A firewall blocking that port is a
possible explanation.

Are there any indications of a failed connection attempt in either
broker logfile at the corresponding times?
