[rabbitmq-discuss] Stomp: after deleting a durable subscription, message is still available

Michael,
This behaviour becomes clearer to me now. Apollo (ActiveMQ) explains their interaction between the id header and the persistent:true header on SUBSCRIBE and UNSUBSCRIBE in this section[1] of the Apollo spec. Although not all of the behaviour is determined from this (what happens when we issue a SUBSCRIBE with the same id but different destinations, for example), we can see where we differ.

I have raised bug24420[2] to address this in RabbitMQ.

I notice that the client-id header on CONNECT is not mentioned in their spec, and has no bearing on subscription persistence.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
