Hi,

I am trying to install chef (which depends on rabbitmq onto a ubuntu natty
11.04 host. When i try to install rabbitmq-server, it throws this error:
sudo apt-get install rabbitmq-server
...
Setting up rabbitmq-server (2.3.1-1ubuntu1) ...
Starting rabbitmq-server: FAILED - check /var/log/rabbitmq/startup_log, _err
rabbitmq-server.
invoke-rc.d: initscript rabbitmq-server, action "start" failed.
dpkg: error processing rabbitmq-server (--configure):

contents of  /var/log/rabbitmq/startup_log:
Starting all nodes...

contents of  /var/log/rabbitmq/startup_err:
Error: {'EXIT',badarg}

Trying to manually start the server yields this error:

sudo /usr/sbin/rabbitmq-server
Activating RabbitMQ plugins ...
0 plugins activated:

{"init terminating in do_boot",badarg}

Crash dump was written to: erl_crash.dump
init terminating in do_boot (badarg)

erl_crash.dump reflects the above.

I have made sure that all my FQDNs resolve, as i googled and thought it
could be that.

Cheers in advance for your help.
