No it's not. It's a bug introduced when fixing another bug which is in
the same area as the confirms but actually has nothing to do with
confirms. So we've moved from a bug that can cause unexpected data loss
to a bug which can racily crash the queue. Probably a lateral move.

In any case, I've fixed it. If you're happy compiling from source then
compile from the head of branch "bug23793". However, I suspect given two
critical bugs have now been found in the 2.3.0 release that there'll be
a 2.3.1 release fairly soon, so if you don't want to compile from source
and can wait a little while, then continue with 2.2 for the time being.
