The instructions he quoted are from the section on RHEL 5 at 
http://www.rabbitmq.com/install-rpm.html. But it looks like he is 
running EPEL 6, which implies he's on RHEL 6. In which case he should 
indeed use the standard EPEL repo, as noted in the "Install the Server" 
section.
