[rabbitmq-discuss] Stop producer and queue continue growing...

Hi,

I have one producer posting ~2000 messages per second in one exchange. And
have one transient queue binding all messages of this exchange, my consumer
are processing 1200 messages per second, so all second this queue grow ~800
messages, so when this queue size get 10.000 messages I stop Producer and
continuing to monitoring queue, and to my scare my queue continuing to grow
for 10~15 minutes going to 170~200k messages when start to decrease.

One snapshot of environment is, Rabbit consuming 80~90% of CPU and 20~30% of
memory.

So my question is why queue continue to grow ?
