Ok. Since there is no DNS available on the network: 'blackmoon' must
have a local entry of the IP of 'whitemoon' in its local /etc/hosts file?

Why is there no further error message about the problem - either during
the  bin/rabbitmqctl cluster call or the following 'start_app' call?
This is kind of misleading...
