[rabbitmq-discuss] rabbitmq 1.5.1-1 from debian pool fails to start

I just let the package system start the system.

If I use /etc/init.d/rabbitmq-server, I get the same problem.

Epmd is left around by the failed startup.  Killing it off beforehand (it
wasn't there obviously on the first clean install), makes no difference --
same lossage.
