[rabbitmq-discuss] Rabbitmq+Ubuntu+TIMEOUT

Hi there,
I installed RabbitMQ using the *.deb file available on the download page.
Whenever I try to run the server however I get:

suhail ~: /etc/init.d/rabbitmq-server restart
Restarting rabbitmq-server: No nodes running
TIMEOUT - check /var/log/rabbitmq/startup_{log,err}
rabbitmq-server.

The startup_log/err files do not provide much information, this problem has
been discussed a bit before:

I can't tell if it's a problem with my hostname or perhaps erlang
installation. I am using Erlang R13B01 (erts-5.7.2).
