"CouchDB-Solr2 provides a distributed architecture for full-text
indexing and searching with CouchDB. Update notifications from CouchDB
are sent to an AMQP exchange. An intermediary server then listens on
that exchange for incoming AMQP messages and directly alerts Solr of
the changes."

I confess to always being super excited when I see this sort of thing
due to the potential for combining different erlang based products
into applications.
