The mainline tree works for me on OSX and Penguin using R12B-5 - what
OS are you using?

This can't be a recent version of the main tree since realms have long
since disappeared.

I suspect you may be running Rabbit 1.4.0 on R12B-n with n < 5, which
won't work with the current tree because of the bug that Ericsson
fixed in R12B-5.
