I'm testing Rabbit on a 'large EC2 instance':
Linux ip-10-251-102-223 2.6.16.33-xenU #2 SMP Wed Aug 15 17:27:36 SAST 2007
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

The basics specs are: 7.5 GB memory, 2 cores, 64-bit, CentOS 5.

On the 2GB log file: I can reliably reproduce the crash behavior, but it's
not always at 2GB mark, a few times it was 1.7, once at 1.5.

What bothers me most is that I can't recover the log file after it crashes.
Rabbit refuses to start unless I wipe the persister.LOG and let it recreate
it.
