There was only one attachment and it contains just a single message 
about the persister log being rolled. That can't be right; there should 
be log entries for every client connect and disconnect.

You should have four log files:
rabbit.log
rabbit.log.bak
rabbit-sasl.log
rabbit-sasl.log.bak

Please send me the contents of all of these.
