Sorry but I did not spent time to improve the present code. The MQ
integration in the current project was stalled byond belief and my
current time schedule is too tight to improve the situation.

The lack of practical experience with AMQP has prevented me from
writing any reasonable sane extension or better abstractions. Maybe in
2009 ... :-)
